The State Championship is the season's culminating event that highlights Illinois’ best varsity dance, drill, pom, guard and club teams in elite competition.   

When:  Sunday, March 3, 2013

Where:  Carver Arena inside the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois

Admission:   Entrance cost will be $10 for ages 6-12, $14 for ages 13+. All spectators age 6 and over will not be permitted into the event without a wristband. Wristbands will be available for purchase at the ticket booth in the Grand Lobby of Carver Arena through the day of the event. 

About:  Teams compete at 17 Dance regional competitions and 7 Flag regional competitions throughout the State of Illinois between November and February to achieve a qualifying bid allowing them to progress to the State Championship.

All teams who compete at the State Championship will be given a participant medal. 

TDI Dance teams will compete for State Champion in six different competition categories in Divisions 1A, 2A, 3A and Club.  Grand Champion titles will be awarded in each Division using the highest cumulative score received by a team. 

TDI Flag teams will compete for State Champion in two different competition categories in one Division.  

TEAMDance Illinois’ is the place where champions are made.

    PSST…Hey Varsity and Club Teams!!!!!  TDI hosts a pre-party event just for YOU celebrating everyone’s success.  This event is open to all competing Varsity Dance, Club and Guard teams and their declared coaches.  This year’s theme is Denim & Diamonds.
